Vehicle Inspection
Before the hirer leave the location from which they have rented their vehicle, they should inspect the vehicle and make sure it is in the condition shown in the Vehicle Details and Conditions Report. The hirer should report any differences immediately to the staff at the pick-up location. The hirer should also make sure about have any equipment which they have specifically requested. If they have any queries, they should go back to the rental counter.
Hirer's Eligibility
Personal Information and Required Documents
The user has to present a valid driving license at the vendor location before pickup. In case the user is unable to present the same, the booking shall stand canceled. If the user is not an Indian citizen, he/she must present a valid International driving license at the vendor location before pickup.
In addition to the above, user has to produce any one of the following ORIGINAL Identity Proofs at the time of picking up the vehicle-

Reservation and Payment
Minimum Rental Period
The minimum rental period for all vehicles (Car & Bikes) is 3days. If a user want to rent the vehicle for less than the given time period he/she has to pay charge for 3days.
Number of Passengers
All vehicles are insured for the appropriate maximum number of passengers. Please ensure that you choose a vehicle suitable for the size of your party.
Hirer's Liability For Damage
The hirer is absolutely liable for any damage up to the amount specified in irrespective of fault.
In this context damage includes:
The hirer's liability for damage applies in respect of each separate accident or incident, not each rental.
Hirer's Liability for Cleaning Charges
If the vehicle is returned in an excessively dirty condition that requires extraordinary cleaning or de-odorizing, the hirer is absolutely liable for the full cost of this cleaning or repair which will be deducted from the initial security deposit.

Personal Injury, Personal Property and Storage of Property
Himalayan Wheels recommends that all people travelling in Himalayan region and Dooars take out Personal Travel Insurance.
Himalayan Wheels does not accept any liability for:
In the event that the hirer or any other person leaves any property with Himalayan Wheels for any reason this is entirely at that person's own risk and Himalayan Wheels will not accept any liability for damage or loss for any reason whatsoever.
Surcharges at the Location
The price and terms of all additional extras which must be paid at the location are always subject to changes and subject to local taxes.
